Slipping and Sliding on the Great Water Rides

June 6, 2007 by sachinskg

Some people have the most fun in the water. Whether it is a day surfing at the beach, or swimming in the pool, there is no better way to enjoy the summer day. It is no wonder water parks are always filled with visitors.

Water parks provide a variety of activities for the theme park enthusiast. They often include water slides, wading pools and raging rapids to entertain the whole family.

Various successful theme and amusement parks also have a water park on the premises. They realize that on hot summer days, some people want an alternative to wild roller coasters and Ferris Wheels.

For the thrill seekers in the family, there are many fast and slippery water slides to choose. You will not be disappointed. For example, you could try out the famous Master Blaster. This crazy slide will send you up and down through many twists and turns. A rush of water will ensure you speed on your way.

The log ride is always a water park favorite. Everyone in the family will enjoy traveling through the slippery track before arriving to the exciting drop off. Make sure to hold on tight and be prepared to get wet.

One of the most infamous water rides is located in Boulder Beach, Idaho. Instead of bumper cars, visitors can take a spin in the bumper boats. The object is to get your opponents as wet as possible. Slam your boat into their vehicle, and make sure to shoot them as they sail by with the squirt guns.

If what you want is a quiet, relaxing day at the park, you will be able to get away. Perhaps you will want to take a trip or two down the several mild water slides. You can also take the kids and dip your feet in the wading pools.

A great day at the amusement park doesn’t mean spending the whole day on dry land. Think about spending your summer vacation at a water park. With so many wet, slippery rides and attractions out there, you will have the time of your life.
