For anyone looking for an amusement park escape in the Northeast, consider Six Flags New England.

Located in Agawam, Massachusetts, the park offers many amazing roller coasters for thrills seekers, and Hurricane Harbor water park to help beat New England’s sweltering summer heat.

The park boasts some of the most well-known rides in the country including, Superman Ride of Steel, Batman - The Dark Knight and the Mind Eraser.

One of the most popular attractions at the park is a favorite for the comic book enthusiast in the family. The DC Comic section is the home to the famous Superman and Batman – The Dark Night rides. Visitors can also tour the true-to-life Hall of Justice.

The ultimate superhero experience includes keeping an eye out for your favorite characters. For the extreme fan, the chance to see the Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and Batman and Robin is a great thrill.

Many new and old roller coasters help to provide an entertaining experience. Several rides have been continuously added throughout the years. There are currently nine at Six Flags New England. Mr. Six’s Pandemonium is one of the park’s gleaming new roller coasters.

Thunderbolt is the oldest roller coaster in the park. Built in 1940, this wooden coaster continues to thrill theme park visitors as it speeds through it creaky tracks.

For the true adventure seeker, try the new Superman Ride of Steel. Considered one of the fastest coasters in the world, this ride hurls guests 208 feet into the air at 77 miles per hour. You are sure to feel your heart in your throat as you experience the 221-foot drop.

Children will enjoy meeting the many cartoons characters touring around the park. You never know when you will run into Bugs Bunny, Pepé Le Pew, Gossamer and Lola Bunny, Scooby and the Gang.
