Silverwood Theme Park

Deep in North Idaho, you will find one of the most thrilling amusement parks in the United States – Silverwood theme park.

The largest park in the Northwest, it boasts some of the most amazing rides and water slides; all promising to separate the weak from the strong.

The infamous Tremors should be the first stop on your visit. It is an underground, wooden roller coaster that travels at a swift 60 miles per hour. You better hang on tight as you plummet down the 100-foot drop into pitch-dark tunnels. This is the kind of adventure you will want to experience time and again.

After your ride on Tremors, make sure to stop by the Timber Terror. Instead of traveling in underground darkness, this aircoaster will have you flying through the air. You will often feel weightless and you speed along on this unique ride.

Want to find yourself head over heals? Check out Silverwood’s original ride, the Corkscrew roller coaster. This twister will spin you upside down not once, but twice.

For those who want to conquer their fear of heights, they can scale the park’s newest attraction, Droptower. You will travel up the 140-foot tower, only to quickly find yourself hurling towards the ground at 47 miles per hour. No doubt it will feel like your heart is in your throat.
If your idea of a good time is getting wet, visit Silverwood’s Boulder Beach. Water lovers can choose to ride the many water slides or surf along the wave pools.

Thrill seekers will be happy riding Thunder Canyon. This raft ride will navigate you through the raging rapids. Make sure to hold on tight so you do not get jostled out of the boat.

A ride on the popular Bumper Boats will also ensure a wet and wild time. You will feel like a kid again bumping into your opponents. For the truly mischievous guest, use your squirt gun to get them soaked. But watch out, you may also get shot by awaiting spectators.

Silverwood theme park is a treasure located in the great Northwest. With sun, fun, chills and spills, it is a great getaway on those long summer days.
