Hershey Park Isn’t Just for Chocolate Lovers
Chocolate is one of the most delicious and enjoyable treats. The Hershey name is synonymous with the sweet confection.
Hershey Park is the company’s very own amusement park. Imagine enjoying a day of roller coasters and carousals, topped off with a tour of the sweet-smelling chocolate factory.
Located in Hershey, Pennsylvania, Hershey Park sits on 110 acres of beautiful countryside. It boasts more than 60 rides of all shapes and sizes, along with ZOOAMERICA North American Wildlife Park and Hershey’s Chocolate World.
The park was originally created specifically for the hard-working Hershey employees. They were invited to enjoy themselves on their days off. It was only a matter of time that the park would be opened to the public.
The animal enthusiast in the family will be entertained by the variety of species at the zoo, while the chocolate lover will satisfy their sweet tooth witnessing how the company’s confections are created. This visitors’ center includes restaurants, gift shops and rides.
Hershey Park boasts 10 unique roller coasters. Enjoy taking a spin on the Sidewinder, Wildcat and Vekoma, to name a few. For those who aren’t afraid of heights, they can brave the Claw, a 65-foot spinning pendulum ride. Your head will spin as you swing from side to side.
Visitors can also choose to ride more traditional attractions. Hershey Park has its own classic Ferris Wheel, and dedicated a special section specifically for children. For those guests who want to get a little wet, the theme park also boasts 10 water rides.
Hershey Park promises a fun time for everyone in the family. For the price of one admission fee per person, you will have access to every attraction, along with entrance into ZOOAMERICA and Hershey’s Chocolate World. It is hard to beat such a deal that offers days of entertainment.
With so much to offer, Hershey Park is a chocolate lover’s dream escape. You may find yourself returning for vacation time and again.
